Boogertman + Partners designed this 23,000m² two-phase office development as PPS Property Fund Trust's new Centurion headquarters and latest green building.
A memorable place in the Centurion CBD
PPS Centurion Square comprises two open-plan office buildings built in two phases in the heart of the Centurion CBD, with a combined gross lettable area of around 23,000m². Designed by Boogertman + Partners for PPS Property Fund Trust, phase one houses the PPS Group's Centurion headquarters alongside other tenants, while phase two is fully let to third parties.
The two blocks are arranged to create a landscaped piazza and a diagonal pedestrian 'street' between them, with large pebble-shaped planters doubling as informal seating. A central atrium runs the length of each building, bringing daylight into deep floor plates and allowing floors to be subdivided for multiple tenancies as required.
Spoormaker's role
Spoormaker & Partners served as both mechanical and electrical engineer on the project, which PPS described as its latest green office development, aimed at reducing long-term operating costs and resource use.
